We also have 45 strong members with one of the highest member response per call. 8.5 people per call in the daylight hours and 14.5 at night. We have (13) NC FFII, (18) NC FFI, (19) NC EMT, (9) NC RT.

We cover 32.5 square miles with 100% response to every call. We cover this area with (2)Engines, (1)Tanker, (1)105'Aerial, (1)Rescue, (1)Brush Truck, and (1)Command Unit.

In 2006 our department worked hard putting in dry hydrants and purchasing equipment for helping our citizens in our community. After all was said and done. NCDOI issued our department an ISO CLASS 6. We where a 6/9s, saving each homeowner approx. $250.00 per home on insurance rates.
